Arundel Federal Savings Bank recently announced the upcoming closure of its Brooklyn branch, with the final day of operation being Friday, February 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM This marks a change for customers who have long relied on that location for their banking needs. The decision comes after careful consideration and reflects a broader shift toward digital banking, as well as the Bank’s ongoing commitment to serving its customer base. While the decision was well-researched and not made lightly, the Bank is committed to ensuring a smooth transition for all affected customers.
To assist with this change, Arundel Federal offers personalized transition support to help customers through the process, answer questions, and keep day-to-day banking convenient and accessible. No Changes to Accounts or Services:
Your accounts and services will remain unchanged. Services offered at the Brooklyn Branch are also available at our Glen Burnie branch, located only 6 miles from the Brooklyn location, and offer enhanced services such as Friday evening and Saturday morning hours.
For Brooklyn Safe Deposit Box customers:
January 16th, 2026, is the last day to close your safe deposit boxes. After the 16th, boxes will be drilled and their contents secured at our Glen Burnie branch. Safe deposit boxes are available to open at all Arundel Federal branches.
