Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Lending Officer


Arundel Federal is a progressive $440 million mutual thrift headquartered in Anne Arundel County, Maryland with six locations.  We wish to expand our Commercial Real Estate Lending team by adding a CRE Lending Officer. You will work closely with existing staff to support the Bank's CRE business plan, by developing new and existing CRE loan and deposit relationships in order to attain established goals. You will develop and manage a sound and profitable CRE loan portfolio (new and existing) and cross-sell other Bank products. You are to execute the business plan by making calls, seeking referrals, developing new relationships, and broadening existing customers' banking relationships. You will analyze and evaluate CRE loan applications and make recommendations to the department head which demonstrate sound judgement. You must maintain comprehensive knowledge of the bank's policies and banking regulations. 

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree or substantive CRE lending experience, strong knowledge of CRE lending criteria, compliance, and relevant regulations.  Demonstrated knowledge of CRE lending practices and the entire CRE lending process, from origination through post-closing.
