Teresa A. Meley has been promoted to Vice President/Manager of Residential Lending. In the banking industry for 35+ years with a focus on residential lending, Teresa has held a VP designation at two other local community banks and holds her Maryland Real Estate license.

Teresa takes pride on being a life-long community banker with a career that started during college as a part-time summer teller and progressed to branch manager and ultimately various roles within residential lending.

“Teresa’s concentrated history in lending will be a huge asset to our residential lending operations. She is an experienced, insightful leader who knows this industry inside and out. She is the perfect fit to lead our residential lending team and customers into the future”, said Tom Herpel, President and CEO of Arundel Federal Savings Bank.

An AFSB lending employee since 2017, Teresa has focused her last 4 years with the Bank on product development, lending investor opportunities, system upgrades, management duties and broker relationships.

Teresa has held professional relationships with AA County Women’s Council of Realtors, Habitat for Humanity, Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors, Maryland Banking Association and Maryland Mortgage Bankers and Brokers Association and is a graduate of the Maryland Bankers Association School of Banking.
