Arundel Federal sponsored its annual Chip in for the Arts Golf Tournament in Pasadena, MD on Wednesday, May 17th, 2023. A total of over $27,700 was raised to support the children’s arts and education programs at the Chesapeake Arts Center (CAC).

“With this year marking the 10th anniversary of the Chip in for the Arts Golf Tournament, it was extra special to have such an amazing turnout and see our community come support such a great cause. Thanks to all our volunteers, the tournament went off flawlessly from start to finish which made for an excellent day of golf for all involved. The monies collected from the tournament will give hundreds of local children the opportunity to participate in educational classes and activities at the Chesapeake Arts Center and enrich their lives through discovering new passions and hobbies. It’s a privilege to be able to give back to a community that has given us so much over the years.” Stated Tom Herpel, President and CEO of Arundel Federal.

The tournament boasted an amazing turnout of 143 golfers, selling out all available slots and making for a truly competitive and exciting day. Golfers enjoyed not only gorgeous weather at the beautiful Compass Pointe Golf Course, but also our putting challenge on the practice green and hole in one competition!

Thank you to all the players, sponsors, and volunteers who helped make this such a successful and exciting event.
