Debbie joined AFSB in 2025 as the Director of Deposit Operations, bringing over a decade of experience in back-office banking roles. Although she's new to the organization, her keen eye for identifying efficiencies is already making a positive impact.
Graduating from Maryland Banking School has elevated Debbie’s understanding of the full spectrum of banking operations. This enhanced knowledge empowers her to drive thoughtful changes within her department while continuing to shape smarter systems that benefit both her team and customers.
For Debbie, school was not only about education, but also the meaningful connections she fostered along the way. Through networking with fellow bankers, she’s built lasting relationships that will serve her well throughout her career.
Debbie’s community spirit shines just as brightly outside the office. She’s deeply involved at her children’s school as a room mom and book fair organizer, and her passion for teaching financial literacy through the Junior Achievement organization has even earned her previous employer a Volunteer of the Year award.
When she’s not working or volunteering, Debbie cherishes family time with her husband and two boys, cheering on the Orioles at Camden Yards.
