Margaret E. Henry is the Senior Vice President Branch Administrator and Security Officer. She has been with Arundel Federal Savings Bank since June 1980. She opened her first savings account with Arundel Federal when she was 14 years old.
Starting out as a teller in the Brooklyn branch, she has worked in most every role throughout her career with the institution which has given her the opportunity to meet and know several generations of customers and their families. She now oversees five branches and their teams as well as the Administrative back office responsibilities such as Deposit Operations/Systems Administration, IRA Department, and works closely with all other departments including Accounting, Marketing, Loan Services, and Risk/Compliance/BSA areas as well as managing the banks facilities operations. She loves the team collaboration and the open communication within the bank.
She studied at Anne Arundel Co. Community College and Catonsville Community College.
Margaret grew up in the Brooklyn area and now resides in Anne Arundel Co. When away from the office, she spends time with an ever-growing family which includes twelve beautiful and smart grandchildren, her four step children, her husband and her two mini-schnauzers. Family and friends are very important in her life. Her favorite quote is “Live well, Love always, Laugh often”.
