Arundel Federal sponsored its 9th Annual Chip in for the Arts Golf Tournament in Pasadena, MD on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. A total of $29,358.00 was raised to support the children’s arts and education programs at the Chesapeake Arts Center (CAC).
“It’s truly an honor to be a part of this event and see so many friends, neighbors and businesses come out and support the Chesapeake Arts Center's 20th Anniversary. We couldn't have asked for better weather and this year's event raised the most money of all our tournaments. The monies collected from the tournament support the CAC’s arts and education classes which give thousands of local children the chance to participate and learn about themselves through all the wonderful activities at the center. It's a privilege to be a part of such a caring community” stated Tom Herpel, President and CEO of Arundel Federal.
Just over 120 golfers gathered at Compass Pointe Golf Course to enjoy a day of competitions including Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, and a chance to win a trip to a major golf tournament with a hole in one!
